Awareness to embrace each part of our greatness facilitates the activity of our inner dialogue. A deficit of one or more invites self criticism, self judgment, to run the show. When this occurs, we sit in fear, anxiety worry and emotional confusion.

🔥Can we all agree on something? Boundaries are beautiful…

Burnout, anxiety and overwhelm can result from your inability to set healthy expectations with yourself and others.

Can I get an amen?

👉Does saying no mean you have great boundaries?

No way…that’s only scratching the surface.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s rewind.

👉Just because I set a boundary doesn’t make someone’s behaviour is wrong. Sometimes, it means that their behaviour isn’t right for me, right now.

It’s NOT about judging or shaming others, it’s about a recognition of your own needs.

Easier said than done, right?

👉Healing your anxious energy pattern in your nervous system and standing in your personal power returns you to a sense of safety WITH the capacity to regulate your emotions so words become more integrated.

Here’s another way to think about it…

👉We can’t please everyone, and we shouldn’t try. We can’t be everything to everybody and we shouldn’t try.

Can you relate?

👉Setting boundaries is a skill that requires practise and can lead to a sense of freedom in our lives.

When I started setting boundaries I went from mute to brute. I struggled to find the sweet spot.

Maybe you’re like me you’ve been so used to giving away your power often you have a delayed action.

👉Listen, I get it. Hours or days later I’d think
* whoa, hold on, that’s not okay what she/ he said* and fear it was too late to go back and say something.

We’ve all been there.

👉The truth is, if I’m going through a challenging time I’m not always on my A game and can still slip into a delayed reaction about letting someone know when a line has been crossed.

But it’s okay. It’s all about being imperfectly perfect.

Which brings up an important point, if you’re like me, and prone to over functioning, over sharing, over accommodating its not a bad thing to have a delayed reaction..

As you can take a beat to get some clarity on how you feel and how you’re going to respond.

👉Once you’ve reflected you can diffuse any emotional charge, allow your inner wisdom to lead you with courage, kindness and conviction.
